Renewal

Renewal will be held on October 1 and 2 at Shalom Retreat Center, a 120 acre property away from the city. It's located about an hour south of Kansas City (12985 Co Rd 1095, Mound City, KS 66056). While there you will find time to connect with God, your family and friends and experience activities like hiking, an obstacle course, games, a guided hike, a camp fire, meals together, fishing and swimming. Accommodations available include private rooms, cabins and space for tents. All accommodations are climate controlled (except tents!). Signs ups begin July 31.

Timeline:
Saturday, October 1
10:00 am - 12:00 pm - Arrive and settle in.
12:30 pm - Meet up at the deck house.
1:00 - 6:00 pm - Free Time
6:00 pm - Dinner at the Pavilion.
7:00 - 10:00 pm - Bonfire by the church and Games in the Deck House
10:00 pm - Quiet Time
11:00 pm - Lights Out

Sunday, October 2
7:00 am - Coffee and Tea at the Deck House
9:00 am - Hot Breakfast at the Pavilion
10:30 am - Gathering at the Chapel
11:30 am - 3:30 pm - Free time, Cleaning Check List and Departing
