Our Calling
Vox Dei Community is a church gathered around Jesus Christ and the mission of God in the world. Vox Dei means "voice of God" - a way of saying we want to be humbly attentive to Jesus as he leads us.
The calling of Vox Dei Community is "to develop disciples who encounter the beauty of God, learn to live life with Jesus, and join with the Spirit’s work in the world."
To move toward this goal, we give attention to three areas:

Holy Father, protect them by the power of your name, the name you gave me, so that they may be one as we are one.” — Jesus, John 17
Our Faith
At Vox, we seek a generous place in which to follow Jesus in good conscience and integrity.
C.S. Lewis wrote about “mere Christianity” and what he called a commitment to “deep church” – that is, that which has been believed in all places at all times by all Christians. This means we remain committed to the central tenets of the historic, orthodox Christian tradition while leaving room for civil disagreement on other matters. Examples of summaries of the Christian faith are found in places like the Apostles Creed (ca. ad 215), and even earlier in I Corinthians 15.
