Every Tuesday, Vox collaborates with others in the community to serve a hot meal and provide needed toiletries and home essentials to those in need in our community. It takes a lot of hands to pull this off, so please join us by signing up below. Once you sign up, Jonathan Klee will reach out to you with all the details that you need to be successful.

Contact Jonathan Klee if you have questions about any of these serving opportunities. If you are a part of our Church Community and signed up in person on paper, you do NOT need to sign up again.

Tuesday Evening Picnic
4:30 pm Set up tables, roll of plastic tablecloth, trash cans, serving utensils, bring storage bins, supplies, and nonperishables out from Vox storage.
5 pm Food arrives and needs to be pre-packaged into to-go bins.
5:30 - 6:15 pm Serving and restocking fruit, hard-boiled eggs, sandwiches, bread, chips, and breakfast items.
6:15 - 6:30 pm clean tables, throw away trash, put everything away, wash/clean metal food trays. If aluminum food pans aren’t too nasty, clean them for reuse, too. Leftover hot food in metal trays can be covered and stored in the Vox fridge. Report number served to Jonathan Klee and sent a picture of hot food leftovers to him.
Clean-up people are needed. Feel free to come for any portion of the evening.

Tuesday Evening: The 2nd, 4th and 5th Tuesdays could use more volunterrs Type 2, 4, 5 *

Wednesday morning
Take leftover sandwiches and fruit to Heart N Hand. Knock on side door.

Wednesday Morning: Need a back up person, weekly spots are filled. *

1st and 3rd Thursday
Text or call Tricia to arrange the pick up of cookies and pick them up on Thursday or Friday.
This need is filled!

Sunday Morning
Restock cutlery, teas, coffee, drink mixes, bags, condiments, non-perishables. Let Jonathan Klee know what is in short supply.

Sunday Morning: What weeks of the month work for you? Still need: 1st, 4th and 5th Sundays filled. *

Tuesday Afternoon Volunteer Spot 1
2pm Warm up leftovers in the Church basement or in your home if you’d like.
4:30 pickup frozen Starbucks sandwiches, Bagel from Rocky in Belton, call or text her Tuesday morning.

Tuesday Spot 1: What weeks of the month work for you? Still need all weeks: Type 1, 2, 3, 4, 5. *

Tuesday Afternoon Volunteer Spot 2
4:15 pick up pans of hot food, you’ll need the clean pans and Cambro from the previous week, so plan a time to pick them up from Vox. Then pick up at Saint Peter's Church, 100 E Red Bridge, KCMO, weeks 1-3. On your way, text Bonnie with Barstow, who meets you at Saint Pete's with Sandwiches and other snacks.

Tuesday Afternoon Volunteer spot 3
Week 4: Pick up pans of food from Saint Paul's 1111 W Foxwood Dr., Raymore.

Tuesday Spot 3: Week 4 only. Back up needed. *

Tuesday Afternoon Volunteer spot 4
September and December 2026, week 5 only. Grilling out at Vox. Food will be provided. You are volunteering to bring a grill and man it on the 5th Tuesday of the month. You'll need to arrive at 4:15 pm at Vox.
